Default No spark, need help!

I have a 1996 Civic that I am at my witts end with. The car all of a suuden wouldn't start. I have checked all of the intermal components in the distributor (coil, ignitor) which check out fine. I have replaced the main relay and still no spark. I know someone out there has run into similar problems, any help would be GREAT! Thank you

How do you know it checked out fine? Usually if there is no spark, the problem is the coil.

do you have a friend with a 96-98 civic that you can borrow the ECU from? ive seen that be the problem. just get one from a friend and plug it in and if it starts, then you know what you have to buy.

Actually the most common problem when no spark is the ICM(ignition control module), the coil would be the second most common.

True, happened to me in my EG, doing 70 down the road and all of a sudden...nothing, my car just cut out
i got it towed to my work and had someone look at it, i tested the plugs and there was no spark at all..
the conclusion was an ICM-- not that expensive and reasonably easy to fit
