No start problem
2003 civic EX 120000 miles, new starter, good battery, good spark at all 4 coils. Replaced bad starter, car started ran for a couple of minutes, turn off an restarted 6-7 times. Next a.m. car started and ran 2 seconds, died will no longer start just spins. Sprayed starting fluid in throttle body, no start. Looked in oil filler hole and do see rockers moving when cranked. Used code reader and it shows zero codes. Checked fuses, gas in tank. Short of pulling the head how do I check to see if valves are damaged from belt jumping time? I don’t have compression tester to test for compression. Cannot access the crank sensor. I have bad back and arthritic injuries that prevent me from doing much. Can anyone give advice or help? Sorry for long post but I need help.

sorry had to tab back and reread part of the post. when you used starting fluid were you by yourself? bad back and such i cant imagine a good hustle is something your keen on doing. starting fluid can dry up pretty quick especially on a side mounted intake like cylinders. you need to have the engine cranking to pull the starting fluid into the cylinders. not that thats a fix it would just poiny towards a fueling issue. fuel pump relay or the fuel pump running would be fairly easy to diagnose with a second person. the relay should match another relay in the car and can be swapped to factory a bad relay out. the fuel pump if you have someone turn the key on and you have your ear at the fill port with the fill flap open you should be able to hear the pump. im not overly familiar with the 7th gen civics so im not sure on the sensors however any rotational sensors would generally be related to this crank or cam either or it has.
