its a buddys car and everytime he starts it gives out a loud noise like "eeeeaaaaaaa" lol but anyways could this be a loose belt of some sort?? just wanna make sure before i help him out. thanks guys

yeah could be a loose belt.

Squealing right after it starts is usually the alternator belt. The alternator is working hard then to recharge the battery after starting.

Or maybe it's the driver going "AAUGH, I have to drive this piece of crap, wish I had a Civic!"

lmfao.. eeeaaaa.. hmm donkey stuck on something hanging?? lol idk.. thats a really good description.. listen to find out where it comes from but usually thats just a loose belt

Not to post-jack, but my brother's '94 prelude does the same thing.my dad even tried to tighten the belts that are usually suspect, but it still does it. *shrug*
