I bought a brand new car 3 days ago. Turned the wipers on today, as obviously it's pouring out. When the wipers go up & down they clunk and it's bad enough that I can feel it under my foot while the clutch is pushed in and only while sitting still (at a red light/stop sign). This happens on all wiper speeds. What the frig?????

Someone told me it might be a problem in the linkage. What do you think it might be?

 

Bring the thing back to the dealer and tell them.

My 2014 Civic coupe EX's wipers are pretty quiet. They are the ones that are opposing and have the twin blades. It sounds like a motor issue. I would take it back to the dealer as another has suggested.
