Default Not sure of the problem...

OK i have a 95 2dr Accord EX-R and today while I was driving my friend took out the deck to plug in the antenna at the back of it. The all the wires were loose and exposed and when he took out the deck there was like a spark. Then the car died. So I used a spare battery in the trunk the boost the car and it worked, until we started to drive away and it died in about 5 seconds lol. So we pushed it back to my house and I left it there for the night and then in the morning I went to start it and it started perfectly so I let it run for a bit then I shut it off and left it. Couple hours later I came back to go drive it and it wouldn't start. It just makes this ticking noise when its time for it to start. All the lights on the dash light up perfectly fine, no dim light, the windows wind up and down, but the car is just not starting. Im thinking its the starter because if it was the alternator wouldnt there be no power?

Do the lights stay on when you turn the key to start? If all the lights go very dim or out when you turn the key, the battery is dead, or there is a bad connection in the main power and ground wires, either at the battery terminal or nearby.

Tape up those radio wires. If it's like a Civic you probably blew the "back up" fuse in the underhood fuse box by shorting them out. This would not prevent the starter from working though.
