Default I am not sure on something, would like some input

Hello Everyone, I have owned my 01 civic for about a year now, and I love it to death. Its a 01 Silver 1.7 Civic. I am looking at putting a K&N air filter in there, but for the price I was wondering would it make more sense to put a cold air intake on there? I really dont mind the loud noises of it. I am not putting exhaust on there cause I drive it alot and I think that will get on my nerves a bit. I am looking for a lil more power and better gas milage. Is it that much diffrence between just a regualr K&N replacement filter VS. a lets say AEM Cold Air Intake? Please let me know.

K&N says...

AEM says...

You didn't say what model it was but that should give you an idea. You get like +12 Hp from the AEM if it's an Lx/Dx. Go figure.
