my dads car has started putting oil out of the exhaust is this really really bad or can it be solved easley

 

Man, I think your fuc*ed!! The oil rings on your pistons keep oil from going into the combustion chamber, when it by-passes the rings, you have a 2 stroke engine effect and you should start burning the oil when the engine is started. Do you have Blue Smoke bellowing out of your muffler when she runs? If so, then there is oil vapour condensing and turning to a liquid, that could be your problem, but dont know for sure. Need more info.

 

dam was kinda hopin there would be an easier explaination. it does smoke a little but is hard to tell weather it because it really cold out or not.

 

I think you would be able to tell if it wass smoking. Back when my Aries started burning oil there was no doubt. It was THICK!!!

 

could be that your rings are shot and you are getting alot alot of blow-bye and your oil is just running past them. check the oil level

 

I would do a compression/leak down test. I also suspect that the rings are on thier way out.
