Unhappy Oil in Coolant - '02 Civic EX

I just recently purchased a used Honda Civic EX with D17A2 engine and automatic transmission.

When I purchased the car, I was informed that the head gasket was leaking. The previous owner had heard that from the dealer, but the car runs fine and can go miles without overheating, smoking, or otherwise. I popped the hood to check the oil and it was clean, but I noticed it was a little low. I checked the coolant tank and the entire inside is covered in a thick, grey oil.

I'm not very educated on Honda vehicles.

Any help is appreciated.

Go to mechanical, do leak down test is simpe, easy and you will be on the right point what is with engine. Probable head gasket , need head milling and new gasket.
