oil filter screw stripped

i got the wrong oil filter and my friend forced it on and cross threaded the screw its a 1990 honda civic .....help what can i do i tryed a tap and dye could not get it to start

If it's the right die, then it's gotta go on. You're gonna have to cut a new thread because of the cross-threading.
