IS anyone out there with knowledge of the 87 CRX? Need serious help the car is constantly overheating. The head gasket has been replaced, the water pump, the thermostat and all the hoses are ok. But the car is still running hot. Any suggestions from anyone on what else to check am getting disgusted with this car and almost beginning to hate Honda's if anyone can help PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do so.

Did you check that the heater core isn't clogged? Does you heat work? Also are you sure the thermostat wasn't installed backwards?

The radiator checks out fine there is no coolant or water leak anywhere in the motor. As far as the thermostat it was taken off and installed again assume my father knows what he is doing when comes to that since he been workin on cars since 1960, just he is at a loss because there is no visibile leak anywhere, he has flushed the radiator with soap to clean it out and all the hoses seem to be workin, we just at a loss as to why it is not coolin?

What about the heater core? If there is a clog, then the coolant might not make it back to the radiator. I think that there is a bypass around the heater core, but i'm not 100% sure on that one.

As far as can tell there is no clog because there is heat coming from the vents.

Radiator Cap? If the rad cap is not working correctly, you won't have enough pressure in the system and this will cause the coolant to boil. Is there any smoke coming from the engine/cooling system?

Brand new radiator cap. No smoke from engine or cooling system.

Here is the last thing i can think of. Is you rad fan turning on when your engine goes past the medium mark? Its kind of obvious, but its usually the obvious stuff that kills you.
