Parking Lights Stay On

Parking Lights Stay On
HONDA CIVIC 2003 SEDAN 1.7L 198k Miles
Hi, so I came out this morning in New England weather (20 degrees F or so) and noticed my parking lights were on... I checked the switch in the car and it was in the off position... I turned them off and on repeatedly to see if it had any response and the parking lights stayed on... Of course, it drained my battery and my car won't turn.... back to the issue, what could this be?
I did some research and it could be a brake pedal switch, but it affects the parking lights in the front also.... Maybe the switch in the steering column? what would this switch be called? I'd like to find a replacement for it and I think it's a good place to start.

To begin with, I am going to try disconnecting the combination switch from the steering column (used to turn the parking and headlights on and off), jump my car, and see if the problem persists after turning the car off a few hours later...
If it still exists, I can rule out the combination switch.... My second instinct is to remove the car alarm module in the vehicle that hasn't been used for over 3 years now.... Keep you all posted!!

So after changing the battery, and hearing the clicking again, i determined its a relay. I put my finger over a relay in the fuse box by the steering column in the car, and it needs to be replaced....
However I cant find the part ANYWHERE new.... everyone appears to be selling it used....
The P/N is : VFM-11F41-Z06
if anyone can help, id be so ecstatic.
thanks!!!

If the relay is clicking and turning the lights on, the relay is probably OK (it's just doing it's job). Whatever controls the relay (alarm module?) is turning it on when it is not supposed to.
If you take the relay out, can you still turn the lights on with the light switch? If so, just leave the relay out.

I tried to remove the relay and couldn't.
While driving, the relay will decide to switch very quickly sporadically only for the first few minutes of driving... And also it will switch sometimes when the car is parked and I'm away leaving my lights on and leaving a dead battery.
Are you sure it's the alarm system? I suppose cutting a few wires would be a lot easier then removing the relay for me at this point lol
I'll try removing the brains to the alarm system first.

So I removed the brains but it still seems like something is awry. I guess its not clicking exactly the same but that could also be because the battery is just absolutely dead now. I'll try removing more of the hanging loose wire, and replacing the battery again. I might as well try replacing the relay too just for good measure except its absolutely freezing up here in New England... Need it to warm the F#%K up!

Went to Autozone and had them charge it up for me.... Full battery, now I can put it back in and test to see if the clicking persists which won't be until after work today. In the back of my mind, the new 2014 Civic Coupe is pretty nice :P But then again, I prefer no car payment.
