I was recently in my g/fs 2k 4 DR civic and sitting shotgun. We pulled over and I try to open the door right as she hit the power locks to unlock the doors. the handle died?! I can no longer open the pass door from the inside. However, the handle on the outside still works?!?. anybody experience this? I'm thinking of taking off the inside panel tomorrow to see if i can solved.hopefully thats an easier solution. TIA

 

YEa I would take off the panel something prolly popped off. I have a 98 civic and my passenger side locking and handle mechanism is slugglish so to say.

 

check that the child lock is not engaged, if it is it wont let you open the door from the inside handle
