plastic moulding

Somehow the PO of my 1989 dx hatch managed to break the 1/2 inch plastic moulding that surrounds the hatch window...found a donor car at the junkyard, but dont want to break the moulding taking it off...anyone know a triuck for the removal and installation of this moulding?
