Hey guys i am in need.....seriously! My car broke down yesterday on the freeway. It died for a moment a couple times then went right back up to running, then it just flat out died. Its a 89 hatch with a 1.6 sohc zc. I just replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. The head was warped recently so I put another on there and it was running fine. It has fuel pressure, but I havent been able to check for spark yet because i havent been home. It has been suggested to me that the timing belt may have slipped and its off a tooth but I doubt that because of the way it kept going after the first time it died. I dont think i have spark, but what would cause that? Please help! I need my monster back on the road A.S.A.P.! Thanks in advance!
