Please help, quick question

Hi everyone, I am new here and just bought my first honda civic. Its a 1999 ex. I want to change my auto transmission fluids. Do I NEED to use Honda ATF or can i just go to kragen and buy regular ATF? Please any help is greatly appreciated. thank you so much in advance

ONLY use Honda ATF or Honda-recommended ATF (read label on bottle).
