Ok so i have a 2004 honda civic LX. About 5 days ago i went to advanced to get oil because my car has leaked oil since i bought it but it never leaves a stain or drips on the driveway. But anyway so i was going up a hill when i noticed my engine sputtering then seen white smoke coming from engine. I pulled over and seen my radiator overflow tank was empty and smoke was coming from radiator. I opened rad cap and fluid was up to the top steaming. So upon looking through forums i found it might be the sensor or thermostat. Replaced both still nothing. I put a paperclip in the sensor and turn the key and rad fans both come on. So i know they work. Im really stumped because i feel like my headers wouldnt cause the rad fans t not come on but my cooling system is not working properly and my engine still overheats. I also left paperclip in and had rad fans running and drove it around and still sputtering and smell burning. Please help me is this the headers because there cracked? ( i just ordered a new one) or is there something else im missing? I also have a video i took but it wont let me upload it.
