i have a 96 Honda civic ex. it has a po131 replaced the o2 light is still on. is it like the integra where the alternator will cause the problem.

 

You should check your fuse 15 (search for fuse 15 problem) but usually that causes codes 135 and 141. Code 131 assuming the sensor is good may mean the wire from the sensor output to the ECU is open or shorted to ground.

 

well when replacing the clutch i cut the wires to it. i repaired the wire as well as putting a Honda 02 in it. i can get it to go out for about 24 hours then it comes back on. when checking the pids i see no voltage for o2 s1b1. i did not get any of this till after i had to replace my distributor after having some ignition issues.
