i have a 98 civic lx 5 speed with 170,000 milesand i have been getting poor mileage and performance recently. i was gettingabout 35-38 mpg up tilabout2 months agoand now i get 30. also, my car seems to run poorly, having slight hesitations that almost feel like its bogging a little. these problems seemed to start after i had a problem with getting water in my distributor. i had to replace the coil, spark plugs and wires,cap, and rotor. i also had the injectors cleaned about6 months ago.since i had distributor problems, could this be something like an 02 sensor?? my CEL is not on! could a fuel filter help? i have no idea what to do! any suggestions?? thank you!

 

well usually if its something to do with the dist. a cel will come on. u may have a partially blown head gasket, not enouph to really notice but u may be losing some compression, i would do a full oil change and run some head gasket repair. its only like 10 bucks and it work great.
