yeah, it gets louder till about 3000 rpm, then they are so close together i dont notice it as much over the exhaust noise. compression was normal so that would also point to the bearing. Im looking at a 93 accord ex for 1500 with an f22a6. Im pretty sure I am gonna buy it because so far all signs point to spun bearing : /

 

Could it have been hydraulic lock from feeding it too much seafoam? that would have made a clunk.
