Default pwr locks

its a 97 civic lx sedan. i hit the lock button on the inside and the rear doors lock, the front do not. i have to manualy push them down. plus the drivers window comes off track while rolling up. i mave to force it against the rear with my hand to roll up properly. when you say spray silicone, won't that freeze the window shut or in place? when you say front and rear track, thats the part where the glass slides up and down in?

Do you have a model that supports a keyless remote? Sounds like the front lock actuators are bad. Just make sure they get battery voltage when you push the switch.

The actuator is the solenoid that moves the locks. Below shows how to test.

Maybe you just need a keyless remote. Does the stock radio have two plugs in the rear? Do you see a valet button in the front of the radio?

Talking door locks

I don't see a valet thing or a bulb for a remote to bounce off of. where is the diagram that shows how to test it? so how does the door panel come off without destroying it?

You don't have keyless if there is no valet switch in the radio.
