Anyone ever converted a 1988-1991 Civic HB model from manual steering to power steering???

 

Not a 91...but I just had P/S installed on my 94. Works awesome. And the HP loss is minimal, if at all. I didn't notice any decrease in power.

My mechanic has done this job for me before many years ago.
My DX also did not have any power steering and he just took an entire steering rack+ pump+ etc from a Honda 1.6 Si and transplanted into my car. It's been many many years now, and only recently I had to change the steering rack due to a small but persistent leak.
