Power Steering Flush
This wednesday I plan on doing a full power steering drain in my autoshop class. I decided the first thing that I should do is figure out how to do it. I want to completely empty out the power steerign and put new fluid in. The color is currently balck, a new bottle of p/s fluid is clear. I want to get the p/s everything as clear as possible. Any help you be greatly appreciated. And the amount of fluid would be noce too. THANKS!!!!
i'm sure somebody has more on this than i , but the onkly way i can think of off hand would be similar to bleeding a saginaw pump, you simply turn the wheels from lock to lock slowly without forcing when you hit the locks, in your case remove the lower hose and drain into a bucket or similar, and have someone assist to either turn the wheels or pour new fliud, might be crud way, but sometimes simple is sweetest
