I have a 2008 Civic and lately the driver's side window is acting weird. I goes up and down without problems using the button's first stage. When I use the 2nd stage the window goes all the way up and comes back down and stops half way.

Does this ever happened to anyone??

Can't say that I have. Have you checked the wireing? i am assuming that you are talking about when using the switch on the drivers side? does it do it with the passenger side too?

 

if you bought it from the honda dealership. cant you bring it back to fix. seeing as thought its a new car.

 

This is not a malfunction , its made as a safety feature.If something is obstructing (a hand or head for example) the window opens back.So you better check what doesn't let your window close all the way.It could be just a small item.

it sounds like a factory defect in workmanship. it should have been lubricated well the first time at assembly. Mine lasted me until march 2009; I bought it 12/1997. My other windows are all fine except for my front driver's side.
