power window stuck

yet another problem with my piece of ****. its one thing after another. well its always been off track a little bit but now it off of the track completely i see where the glass is supposed to be, in between these rails or something it is behind it and when i try to go up it just clicks no motor, i know the motor is fine though. i cant even pull it up with my hands it gets stuck half way what am i going to do :(

Pull off the door panel and place the window back into its side channels. Before reinstalling the door panel, spray some silicone lubricant into the top of each side rubber channel where the window edges slide, and let the lubricant drain down the channel by gravity. Next, connect the window switch, and roll the window up and down multiple times to ensure that the window now moves freely. Install the door panel, and you should be good to go.

Do you have the door panel off?

bassman09 12-10-2008 06:31 PM

your gonna have to unscrew the bolt that holds the window in place, so that you can put it back on track.

mtchu736 12-10-2008 06:31 PM

yes i have easy access to the window i even took the screw off to move the side channels its really stuck. idk?

Remove the two bolts at the bottom of the window glass to free the window from the regulator. You should then be able to lift and move the window.
