Default Problem with idle

1995 Honda civic dx 1.5...After it has warmed up the car idle will go up and down. Never to the point of cutting off and the car seems to be driving fine it is just annoying at this point. I have replaced the iac valve with no luck I have checked for vaccum leaks and purged the coolant line for any air bubbles. What is there to do next. The car is not giving me a code so the Honda guys just says Duh??? The TPS is what I was thinking but won't I have to replace the entire throttle body to do. If so some one send me a diy on that please. Any suggestions would be great.

my car did that before. i didn't run the coolant through the throttle body and that causes it to go up and down. the tps might do that, unplug it from the throttle body and if it runs fine that is the problem.

i run my car without the tps hooked up, i think it does the same thing when i plug it in it has been a long time since i done the swap

I don't have to have the tps hooked up at all and I can just drive it like that

hey i kno this is probably way off but i think that happened to my car 2 when i first got it. Does the engine sound like its gunna die and the battery light comes on on the dash then it picks up again etc etc. If so the problem i had, i think, was dirty petrol. So my dad says neway. I put 20 into it and the prob started, was there for a few days, got more petrol and the prob was gone, i cleaned the air filter, thought it was a problem with my oil, thought it was this that and the other thing. But im pretty sure it was just petrol! Iv never had the prob since

Nope the car runs great just when at an idle it sounds as if someone is in the car giving it gas and then letting off the gas over and over. It only does it once the car has warmed up and has been driven at bit. The idle never gets so low that the car want to cut off and it never gets so high that it might damage something just a slight revving of the motor.

try disconnecting the tps sensor. your car should run fine without it, maybe a tad rich because that is what it is supposed too do without a tps reading.

Will it hurt the engine any to run it like that though? If it can get me by for a while maybe I can just do an engine swap. I have been thinking of that for a while now but I can't decide on what I want to put in it.
