pulleys?

Default pulleys?

I have a 97 honda civic ex (auto) should i get AEM pulleys do they make a difference if so what else do i have to get with them .

They'll make a little difference because they are lighter. I've heard bad things about the crank pulley though.

the only one I would get is the power steering (don't think there's an A/C one) hence you don't want to loose power at your alternator...that is if they are of a larger diameter

AEM doesnt make a crank pulley because its not safe, but if you dont want to do a stereo system, then go for it. but if you are planning or already have pretty much anything beyond stock stereo (basically if you add an amp), then dont do the alternator one, it will lose a little juice.

You guys dont' think it would be Ok to have the underdrive alternator pulley if you had a capacitor?

An underdrive alternator pulley is okay if you're not gonna run a lot of electronics. If you have more than a stock stereo, then I wouldn't run other than a stock pulley. You want as much power flowing as possible to net you the best spark possible.

the alt. is what charges the capacitor. all the capacitor does is store xtra energy for when you hit heavy bass,helping out the battery but the alt. still needs to charge it.
