Default question

Alright so i just bought a 94 honda civic it has the 1.6L so im asking should i really change the water pump pullys etc. if im changing the timing belt?

It would be worth while to change the tensioner and the water pump when doing the timing belt as your in that area anyway.

Timing belt, water pump, tensioner. Do all of them. It's maintenance. You have to do the other two with the belt off anyways.

Yeah do all that...if you just brought it then flush the transmission fluid & coolant as well. Many previous owners just add both of them from time to time & never flush...this would be over years & thousands of miles which can get worst for an engine and transmission if continued.

Your car is pretty old(not too old tho)...just do everything that's in your expense to do when it comes to maintenance, and worry about the components later when they give signs of trouble.
