radiator problem!!!!!
my temp gauge rises steadly when driving. my fan needs a new fuse but i dont think that is the problem. also the radiator gets really really hot after sitting just for alittle while. wat do you think the problem is???? thanx
You definitely need to fix the radiator fan. In addition to a blown radiator fan fuse, you could also have a bad fan motor, fan relay, or coolant temperature switch (located on the thermostat housing).
Other items to check for overheating:
1. Bad (stuck closed) thermostat (replace)
2. Low coolant and air trapped in cooling system. Check carefully for leaks. If none are found, when engine is cool, top off both reservoir and radiator with coolant. Then bleed system.
3. Bad water pump.
4. Blown head gasket.
