Radiator Support Bar
Yeah so i finally got the hood open after i rear ended some guy yesterday, to which i went right under his car bc civics sit so low... and it looks like i bent the radiator support bar again (my brother bent it up when he hit a deer) is it worth it to try and replace it? I can see its welded right to the frame so I can bet it would be expensive to do... let me know what you guys think?
how you feel....my girlfriend did the same thing to my civic. right underneath a minivan. to me it is worth fixing, because ive done it before. it is actually the whole front clip damn near. its not to expensive to buy if you install it yourself. what year, make and model?
did the same thing - but not too bad.
pulled it back by hand.
but i still need to put a chain to it and hook to a tree and gentlly pull the thing out a little more.
with the rad out, may be able to put a jack in there and straighten it out (not for sure of that though; just an idea).

yeah we straightened it out kind of when my brother hit the deer with a come-along... but this bent it out of shape again. Can you install them yourself? i thought it was like welded right to the frame... thats how it looked when i was checking it out...
