Default Razor Gouges/Scrapes on d15b7 block (from previous head gasket job?)

While meticulously cleaning off a block with non-abrasives, I found a lot of razor blade gouges and scrapes on the block. Even if the block checks out with feeler gauges to bee up to spec - how concerned should I be about the scrapes and gouges? Is there any way to address this without taking the block out?
