Default rear drums

Is thier a trick to removeing the rear drums?

I've never removed them from a Civic but if their anything like a Camry you may need to tap them with a hammer to loosen them. You may also need to adjust them to pull the brakes away from the hubs.

there is a rubber cap in the back of the drum that allows access to the adjuster to back it off a little to get the drum off. One ofmy civics drums was rusted pretty bad but i got them off pretty easily with this method. You could also get some bolts that fit through the face of the drum that you can tighten in and it will force the drum off, but if it is stuck on pretty hard it will put extra stress on the brake components., i had to get the other drum off with this method. both can be applied as necessary, the trick is finding bolts that will match the thread pattern.
