Default remove E brake handle

i've been trying to take the ebrake handle off so i could put a crome one in but for some reason it wont pop off easy. Do i have to pry it off? cut it in half? HOW DO I REMOVE IT TO INSTALL A DIFFERENT ONE.

Any response would help "if u kno wut your talkin about"

I heard two ways,
first take a hammer and a piece of wood as a wedge and basically hammer till it slides off.
or you can take a knife and cut the rubber off. I find the latter to be the easiest.
Good luck!

there was a big thread about this a wile ago, you can search it...but its pretty much, the only way to take it off is pull and twist (which i find impossible) or cut the plastic off, which i think is the easyist way
