Replace timing belt?
Hi Everyone,
My 18 yr.old son will soon be purchasing a 2002 Honda Civic EX. It has 85,000 miles on it. I'm concerned about the Timing Belt. Owners Manual directs to replace it at 110,000 or 7yrs. Obviously, the car is older than 7yrs. Is it imperative to replace this belt immediately?
Sincerely,
scout21
