Default replacing ABS sensor

Hey all. I am posting for my wife who just came back from the dealership like this - [:@]
Her ABS light (2001 Civic EX) came on a few days ago, and apparently she needs a sensor replaced. The mechanic first told her $350, then said $45 for the part and $200 labor (45 mins - how does that add up?##$%@). After protesting a bit, he agreed to charge her $100 total because she's a "great customer".

I know nothing about Hondas but do all my own work on my Jeep and would like to get this taken care of myself. Can anyone give me the heads up on this repair? If I'm not mistaken, there are sensors on each wheel, so I'd need to know which one needs to be replaced? Any writeups on the procedure available? And perhaps most importantly, since I'd like to do all future work, any suggestions on where to get a factory service manual on the cheap?

Thanks in advance for yer help!!

OK - been searching for the FSM and can't seem to find one for 2001?!? There's a break between 2000 and 2002 models. Anyone know what the deal is with this?

Front or rear? 2 door or 4 door? I have a diagram of the front and rear wheels sensor but don't have a description though. It looks pretty straight forward. It seems likes it just two bolts that hold the sensor on. Another bolt that holds the wire in place.

Sorry! Should have known better than to omit that info[sm=bangbang.gif] She's got a four door, and the offending sensor is the front left. Any info would be great!

Thanks!

This is the diagram I was able to get. Doesn't have any instructions but it does show the bolts you have to remove.

Thanks! One last question - Do you have the Factory Service Manual or do you use Haynes/Chilton's? I've been trying to find a 2001 FSM but haven't had any luck yet.

Thanks again!
