Default Replacing Rear & Front bushings....

Got a 92 Civic LX with 190,000 miles.

I plan on replacing my bushings and it's been a long time coming. I have been searching through DIYS on Honda & non-Honda sites to see what would be the easiest way to replace these suckers, and most of them suggest that you go to a machine shop to press them in.
Here's my question....How come no one really suggests a "Bushing Driver Kit" from Autozone or any auto place rather than torching & cutting the bushings out? Are these kind of kits unreliable? I thought they were built to press/hit the rubber & metal sleeve out, and have them pushed/hit in.

The set looks alot like this: OEM/Bushing Driver Tool Set (27137) | Bushing Driver Tool | AutoZone.com

I never dealt with any bushings before except the Trailing Arm bushings(for that I used a hammer). Please let me know of any info you have on how good/bad bushing driver kits are.

Thank You in Advance.
