Default Replacing shift rod bushings

Hello all,

Yesterday I was doing some spirited driving on the highway. I tried to downshift to 4th doing 75 and my car fell into 2nd insted. Things learned, my valves float around 8200 rpm and I need to change the shift rod bushings. How hard is it to do? Can it be a one day project?

Thanks,

MC
