RE: REV LIMIT??
just wondering if i pop the limiter does it affect the engine THAT much. after all honda set it there for a reason. if they felt it neccecary they would have set the limiter at a lower rpm. just asking cause my cause is tachless and if i happen to pop the limiter sometimes just want piece of mind

RE: REV LIMIT??
I have a question THREAD JACCK!!! um on the drag cars and stuff they just sit at the light hitting the limiter and we must do that in my camaro to launch is this bad for the car like does it reduce the longtivity of the engine?

RE: REV LIMIT??
that is correct marty it does have a trans brake on it. is that differnt from holding that in and mashing the accelator then like throwing in the clutch and hitting the accelator? or is this like completly differnt?

RE: REV LIMIT??
No you set your transbrake for a certain rpm say 4000rpm and when you get to the line you flip it on and just hold the gas. The transbrake will not complete the driveline sequince(sp?) untill the car goes over 4000rpm then it will let it go.
