just wondering if i pop the limiter does it affect the engine THAT much. after all honda set it there for a reason. if they felt it neccecary they would have set the limiter at a lower rpm. just asking cause my cause is tachless and if i happen to pop the limiter sometimes just want piece of mind

hitting the limiter every once in a while is not going to break your car

Those are 2 stage rev limiters and I'd say your camaro has a transbrake on it.

that is correct marty it does have a trans brake on it. is that differnt from holding that in and mashing the accelator then like throwing in the clutch and hitting the accelator? or is this like completly differnt?

No you set your transbrake for a certain rpm say 4000rpm and when you get to the line you flip it on and just hold the gas. The transbrake will not complete the driveline sequince(sp?) untill the car goes over 4000rpm then it will let it go.
