Default Rotor removal

OK, need to remove the rotor. I took of the caliper/brakes. Now the 2 Philips head screws are stuck. Are these reverse threads? I did soak them with penetrating oil. And beat them with a hammer to try and loosen them up but with no luck. Pretty close to being stripped out I got one more shot and then Ill drill them out. If I do anyone know the screw thread size and length?

I used an impact screwdriver and they are not reverse threads.

You need an impact screwdriver, a normal one will not work 9 out of 10 times.

ive used one of those cheapey screwdrivers with the different tips with a handle that will bend, like a pistol grip, and put a #3 phillips in it, and walked around pick-n-pull and gotten a handful of those screws, and only stripped one with it. and ive probably broken a dozen tips in my impact screwdriver.

yea I've also used just a #3 phillips tip in a 1/4 inch socket 3/8 drive in a 3/8 ratchet and broken them loose. However I have also had to drill them out before too.

maybe drop $20 and get a set of those Grabit things. they advertise them on tv, but ive seen them in hardware stores too. they seem like they would work better than most easy outs.

The axle nut is torqued to 134 lb-ft. Use a 24 inch breaker bar to remove it.
