really hate stock seats in my 2001 LX coupe, found a nice set of seats on ebay from 05 rsx with side airbags, would they fit my civic?

 

You can always make things fit. I don't think they'll just bolt right up though.

 

im more conerned about srs system, my stock seats have a plug nderneath em, disconnecting it, trns off srs.

seats are around 400$ on ebay, im still thinking if its worth it to risk it or not, pretty much all auctions state that i "should contact the dealer to find out if it fits". yeah right
dealers are so helpful and they looove to share info with the customers

i was going to put recaro seats in the car, but then my GF, who also drives the car, objected, stating that they are not comfy and u cant adjust them, so my only option is rsx seats for now. i cant afford another car to make civic a project car so no recaro seats for now

 

I wouldn't expect the dealer to know anyway.

Your LX doesn't have side airbags in the seat, does it?! If not, then don't plan on hooking up the side airbags int he RSX seats. If your SRS system isn't designed for them, they aren't going to work.
