yeah, no side airbags in my case, so what are my options then? just disable srs system? i wonder how can i find out if the connectors on the seats are the same on the civic's seats.
pretty much my goal is to change the seats while keeping srs system on.
im sure some1 out there has done the swap before

by all means, dont, it doesnt seem to me that u are able to produce any "comments" that would be helpful.
any1 did the swap? how do you deal with srs?
You may not have seen the 'discussion' about the magical 'SRS or not SRS' plug under the seat that happened a few months ago. That's the reason for my post - just poking fun at mxs, is all - no harm meant.

But since you so nicely asked, I have recently installed some 'Teg seats in my '95 hatch. Granted, they were pretty much a drop-in deal. However, I've also installed Ford Escort seats in my Jeep CJ-7, as well as fabricated brackets to mount up Jeep TJ Wrangler seats in the same Jeep (after the Escort seats wore out from weather) using the stock CJ brackets and sliders. Not to mention installing a set of '98 Quad-Cab seats in my '97 Club Cab Dodge Ram 4x4.

You have no idea how qualified I am to make helpful comments based on one post - so take a pill.

Since you don't have side-impact airbags, the plug under your seat is for the seat-belt sensor and should have no bearing on your SRS system, according to reputable sources on this forum.

Good luck with your project, nonetheless.

... must not comment... must not comment...
Was that entirely necessary?

As for the seats...Not sure what to tell ya bro. I have no experience in that area. Wish you the best of luck with it!
Wow - looks like your post was just as helpful as mine was... so... was yours entirely necessary as well?
