Inspect the contact points of the cap and rotor for wear, corrosion, or cracks. The O2 and ECT sensor must be checked with a multimeter.

The ignition timing is checked with a timing gun:

Put the negative terminal back on and started her up, no codes.

I checked by removing the MAP sensor, it threw a code.

Start with an ignition system tune up as I mentioned.

Yeah, I'll try to see if I can rent a timing gun from the auto shop here. I know the last owner tried to rice it out, he may have improperly advanced the ignition timing, thanks.
