Security LED Problem
if it is truly an alarm, then it would have come with a siren. All viper alarm systems come with a siren, and would have been installed, but the horn honk is optional and most places will not hook it up unless you specifically ask for it. Check under your hood and see if there is a siren mounted anywhere. There is a small chance that the wiring came loose.
If you do not have a siren or an led mounted, I am starting to think that you have a remote start system, but not an alarm. In this case it would not come with a siren, and the horn honk or led don't serve any real function since it is not an alarm. So the installer might have skipped it to save some time, or he was just lazy.

i have a feeling its not supposed to be an alarm because it has auto start and keyless entry but it comes with panic and w.e features..but it has no sensors like i hit the car it wont go to panic mode..so i guess its not an alarm
if that is the keypad that you have and it has remote start, then its going to be the 160xv. the link you posted (Viper 211HV) is only a keyless entry.

well your 02 civic does not have a power trunk release. So its not even possible to hook the aux to that. Unless you add a trunk release solenoid. but I have heard that they can be a pain in the ***.

as far as the horn, its not too difficult, the only problem is knowing what color wire the horn output of the alarm is. You will most likely have to hunt down an install manual for your viper system to find out. Once you find out which wire it is on the alarm. You will need to hook it to an orange wire that is found in the Steering Column harness.
