91 and 94 engines with an ECU have a MAP sensor. Your engine has a MAP sensor. Your pictures are too small to discern anything. Post clear zoomed in pictures of the firewall. That's where the MAP sensor of the 94 DX is located. If you did not have a MAP sensor, then a CEL code would be thrown.

Check your plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and the ignition timing.

Also measure the fuel pressure, test the FPR, and check for a stuck open thermostat or fuel injector.

man i am having the same problems!! 1994 ex too! different engine and everything is good on my car too!! What is the engine code?? its to the left of the header right on top of the transmission

Hey man i dont know if you checked your timing too but i think your timing might be retarded and maybe your gas cap too. Its often overlooked but your fuel might be evaporating a bit
