shifter, bushings, fluid, advice?
For my next project to my car, I was going to install a megan header. But Now I'm thinking of upgradeing my shifter first. It will also be easier for me with the tools I have. I'm planning on changeing my shifter to a dual bend prolly a B&M. I also want to change the bushings (I've heard so many good things about the change in the shifting with them). And also the transmission fluid.
I've read on here dif opinions on trans fluid, some like the oem honda stuff, some don't. Should I just go with the stuff from honda?
I was planning on getting these Energy susp shifter bushings ( http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/pe...p;brandid=2441), along with a B&M shifter from the same site.
Sound like a good deal? Anything I'm missing to help with the shifting response? (I know a good clutch kit and flywheel but don't quite got the loot for that yet lol)
Also should the order I go in be, 1st bushings install, 2nd shifter install, 3rd then fluid?

Good choice, you will probably feel more of an improvement in your car with the bushings and shifter. The ones you picked are fine. Install the shifter and the bushings at the same time. No reason not to go with the Honda MTF.
no need to call, just go to the dealership, im 99.9% sure they'll have it. might as well just do all this(bushings, tranny fluid, header) at the same time. taking ur stock header will prolly make both the other jobs a bit easier. u'll have the car up and u'll be under there so might as well just knock it all out while ur at it..
That sounds like a good idea, but I dunno if I'll have theloot this month to do all that. Also I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the bolts from the manifold to converter off....
I was just going to drive my car up onto ramps to work on the linkage and bushings. Would it be hard to get all 4 of my tires off the ground? I'm kind of afraid to do that.
I'm still sort of a newb with this stuff...

I read that you can get to the linkage and bushings without removeing any of the exhaust pipes. I believe it was a DIY on here, it's a little harder but can still be done he says.
What about me getting all 4 tires off the ground, is that hard to do?

Ok, It sounds like I should do the header at the same time then, will I be able to get the job done by just taking off the manifold and the converter? Or do I need to take the whole exhaust off?
Thanks for all the advice thus far.
