Hey im having and issue with my 95 coupe DX. I just bought a new battery on friday. After sitting all night went to start her up the next morning and it was dead as a doornail. After a boost she took right off i took her into town and after 30 min of sitting she was dead again. Now after getting her going i checked the starter and the alternator and battery and all were fine. my high beam light is on in the cluster and my key switch does not feel right i can pull the key out of the switch after the car is running. I guess im looking for a short somewhere but have no idea what im looking for when it comes to wireing im not the greatest any help out there???

 

When the high beam light is on that means the lights are on too. But leaving the lights on shouldn't drain the battery in 30 minutes. It is likely that your charging system is not working and / or the new battery is defective.
