Default speedometer
does anyone have a clue why my speedo would be saying im going faster than i acyually am? new speed sensor. r there any other sensors that could cause this?

first off you can try by stating the year make and model of the car..... if its a ED/EE/EF generation (88-91) then the speedometer needle might of gotten a tad nicked off calibration?

Is the speed wrong by a lot? Is the odometer still accurate?

tire size is 195/50/15. dont know if the odometer is accurate or not

So you are saying that the Speedo is showing a speed faster than you are actually going? What are you using to compare this to?

it is off by about 12 mph. i ran next to my girls escape
