Squelling on cold starts! help!

My car only does this on cold starts... it squells really loud, sounds like metal grinding, but I can't be too sure what it is. I thought a bearing. I got an 01 ex. please help... kinda freaking out about this.

Sounds like a loose, dirty or bad belt.

bad belt was the problem on my friends mazda during cold starts, now in summer though it doesnt have that squeal

Prolly a worn alternator belt (or another accessory belt). When its cold the belt slips on the pulley but when the car warms up (or the weather warms up) the belt sticks to the pulley better and no longer sticks.
