Default SRS Light

SRS light came on, code is for the seat belt sensor.

Question is, is the rest of my SRS system still working?
Will the air bags still work even though the SRS light is on for a seat belt code?

in my 97 DX the air bags will not work if the light is on as far as i have read.

check the sensor to see if there is voltage across it while it is on, with key in on positions (i am not sure what the voltage should be in your car but i am sure you could google that), if the voltage is properly across it it is likely that you just need to replace the senor. Also I am not that familiar with your model of civic but that is my best guess as far as troubleshooting goes.

If the voltage is properly across the sensor then update this thread and i am sure there are more qualified people that can further assist you.
