disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal, let it sit for 10 minutes, reconnect. Done. ECU = reset

its not that easy, i disconnected the battery for 3 hrs still the light came on. ECU has nothing to do with your SRS its a separate module.
if you have fixed the problem this should work.

requirements:
a piec of speaker wire ( logn enough that you could see the light)

1. find the yellow wire and connector on your fuse block ( this wire is not connected to anything except a dummy slot, also some civic has green instead of yellow )
2. attached your speaker wire to this and short them.
3. turn ignition on but dont start.
4. SRS light will turn off in about 6 sec. now quickly separate the wires. light will come back on, now short the wires again, light will turn off again bout 6 sec.
5. disconnect the wires, the light should blink twice if done succesfully.
6. turn of ignition and then test if light still on. if still on theres another problem in your SRS other than the seat connector.
